How to Take Screenshot on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

1. Introduction

A screenshot is a picture of whatever is on your screen at the moment. You may want to share an in-game accomplishment with a friend, quickly save a map or recipe you were looking at for later, or capture photographic evidence of a hilarious text message conversation caused by an Autocorrect mishap.

2. Take a Screenshot

1. Take a screenshot from your device.
   
2. iPhone X
3. Press the Side Button, and the Volume Up button at the same time.
   

1. Other iPhones
2. Press the Top or Side Button, and the Home button at the same time.
   

1. iPad or iPod Touch
2. Press the Top Button, and the Home button at the same time.

1. Your device's screen will flash white and you'll hear a camera shutter sound (if your device is not muted).
2. The screenshot has now been taken and will be available within the Photos app.
