How to troubleshoot Blinking Epic Games Launcher icon on the taskbar

This guide will help you on how to troubleshoot Blinking Epic Games Launcher icon on the taskbar

2. Resolution

1. Right-click your Epic Games Launcher shortcut.
2. Click Properties.
3. Select Normal Window from the drop-down menu next to Run.
   

1. Click the Compatibility tab.
2. Uncheck any boxes, and then click Apply then OK.
3. Click Start, then type "Graphics Settings" and press Enter.
4. Select Classic app from the drop-down under Graphics performance preference. 
5. Click Browse.
6. Navigate to the Epic Games Launcher installation directory.
   By default, this is C:/Program Files (x86)/Epic Games/Launcher/Portal/Binaries/Win64. 
7. Click the EpicGamesLauncher.exe file, and then click Add.
8. Click Options.
9. Select Power Saving.
10. Click Save.
11. Relaunch the Epic Games Launcher

Some players on Windows 8 or 8.1 have reported downgrading their Nvidia driver version from 451.67 to 446.14 resolves this issue. If you are on Windows 8 or 8.1 and has a blinking launcher make sure to try this 

 If the above steps don't resolve the issue, make sure that you install any Windows Updates on their computer
