Tamper message after battery change

If the customer has recently changed their batteries, this may have caused the tamper message. 

 Instruct the customer to remove the front of the motion sensor and then carefully make sure the front is properly aligned before closing the sensor. 

If this does not resolve the issue, the system will not be able to ARM AWAY while the tamper message is active. Customers will need to follow the process of disabling the zone before arming AWAY until a technician can visit their home to resolve the issue. 

 Follow instructions below to assist the customer to Disable the Zone and Arm Away:

  • From the touchscreen home screen, instruct the customer to tap Security .

Sercomm SZ-DWS08 Showing incorrect LQI/RSSI signal

A fix is expected to be released by Sercomm. 

  1. As long as the RSSI is greater than or equal to -85, the device will operate as normal.
  2. Use RSSI readings to determine signal measurements
