The iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch all run on the iOS operating system. This is the main software that you see on the screen and operates your device. With version 13 of iOS, a new much awaited feature was introduced called Dark Mode. This feature turns your iOS device's color theme to a black and dark grey tone that's easier on your eyes, especially in low-light environments.
iOS 13 is available on iPhone 6S and later and iPod Touch 7 and later. Starting with this version all iPad lines will get a new operating system called iPadOS that is derived from iOS but optimized for tablets which have much larger screens and other additional features. iPadOS 13 is available on iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro and iPad 5 and later.
There are three ways to turn Dark Mode on or off on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. This guide will show you how to do it each way.
