Introduction
Before You Begin:
Upgrade Your iOS Device to the Latest Version

1 Ask Siri to Turn On Dark Mode
- Say: "Hey Siri"
- Wait a moment for Siri to indicate she's listening, then say "Turn on/off Dark Mode."
2 Turn On Dark Mode From Control Center
- Open the Control Center.
On iPhone X or later, iPad or iPod Touch
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen.
On iPhone 8 or earlier
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap and hold the Brightness Control.
- Then tap the Dark Mode Control to turn the feature on.
3 Turn On Dark Mode From Settings
- Open Settings on your phone or tablet.
- Scroll down and go to Display & Brightness.
- From there select the Dark mode.
- To have Dark Mode turn on and off on it's own, toggle the Automatic switch.
- Then go to Options.
- Choose whether you want Dark Mode to turn off and on:
- At sunset and sunrise,
- Based on a schedule defined by you.
