2. Update Firmware

1. Launch the browser that you use to go online.
   

1. Navigate to http://dlinkap.local and login with the admin password that is set on the range extender. If you haven't set up an admin password, you don't need to enter one to login.
   

1. In the range extender's web interface click or tap Management in the top right.
   

1. Then select Upgrade from the drop down menu.
   

1. Click or tap Check for New Firmware. If a new firmware version is found, its details will be displayed. Click Upgrade Firmware to start the update process.
   

1. Wait for the update to complete and follow any additional instructions.
