• Update your Linksys RE6350 Range Extender.

Before We Begin:

• Be at your computer or have your smartphone or tablet connected to your range extender.

2. How to Update

Make sure your device is connected to your Range Extender via its Wi-Fi network before continuing.

1. Open your preferred web browser.
   

1. In the address bar at the top, enter extender.linksys.com and press Enter or Return.
   

1. Enter the password you set for your range extender, and select Login.
   

1. Select Firmware Upgrade on the left.
   

1. After a few moments, any updates available will be shown under the current version, along with an option to update. If an update is available, select Update now.
   

1. Do not turn off or reset your Range Extender during the update process. Doing so can cause serious problems and result in the device no longer working.
2. Wait for the update to finish before turning off or resetting the device.
3. You may also wish to place a check next to Auto update range extender when improvements are available, then Save that change. That way, your Range Extender will take care of updating itself in the future.
