Introduction
- Check, and update the firmware on your Netgear Range Extender.
- Be at a computer connected to your Range Extender.
1 How to Update
Make sure you are connected to your Netgear Range Extender with your computer or smart device before continuing.
- Open your preferred web browser.
- In the address bar at the top, type in www.mywifiext.net then press Enter or Return.
- Enter your Email address and the password you choose when you setup the Range Extender, then select Log In.
- Select Firmware Update on the left.
- Select Check Online.
- If a new version is available, information about it will be displayed here. Select Yes to update the firmware.
- The Range Extender will download and apply the update automatically.
- Your Range Extender will reboot on its own.
- Wait one minute, then reconnect your devices to your Range Extender.
- Your Range Extender is now up to date.
