How to Update a Slingbox

1. Upgrade

Your Slingbox has built-in software that controls how video is streamed to you over the internet.

It is important to install updates to this software (sometimes called firmware) whenever they are available to ensure that your system is up to date.

What you need before you start:

• A reliable Internet connection
• A computer
• Slingbox

If you are using Slingbox350, Slingbox M1/M2 or SlingboxTV/ SlingBox 500 this guide does not apply: Updates will install to these devices automatically.

1. Visit setup.slingbox.com on your computer.
2. Click Get Started.
3. Login to your Sling Account and then click to connect to your Slingbox.
4. If an update is available, you will see a button in the top-right corner that says Check for Updates. Click the button.
