- How to update the firmware of your TP-Link range extender.
1 Update Firmware
- Launch the browser that you use to go online.
- Navigate to tplinkrepeater.net and login with the admin credentials set on your range extender.
- In the range extender's web interface click or tap System Tools in the left side menu.
- Then select Firmware Upgrade from the drop down menu.
- On the right side under the Online Upgrade heading, click or tap Check for upgrade.
- If a new firmware version is found, its details will be displayed. Click Upgrade to start the update process.
- Wait for the update process to complete. The range extender will reboot automatically.
- Your range extender is now up to date.
