Before We Begin:
Have your Nest Video Doorbell installed and functioning properly.
Have the Nest app installed on your smartphone or tablet.

5. Doorbell Alert
When someone rings your doorbell, an alert will appear on your device.
Select this alert to jump instantly to your camera, or open the Nest app.
Select your doorbell camera.
You will see a live video from the camera of who is at the front door.

7. View Camera
Open Nest.
Select your doorbell camera.
You will see a live video from the camera.
At the bottom, you will see still image snapshots of previous events that have triggered your camera.
Nest Aware Additional Features
Nest Aware is an extra subscription service you can purchase from Nest.
Your Timeline not only contains still images, but video of the event. Both motion and ringing the doorbell.
8. Responses
When someone rings your doorbell, an alert will appear on your device.
Select this alert to jump instantly to your camera, or open the Nest app.
Select your doorbell camera.
You will see a live video from the camera of who is at the front door.
Select Responses at the bottom.
Select a response from the list, and your Ring Video Doorbell will say it to your guest.
9. Talk
When someone rings your doorbell, an alert will appear on your device.
Select this alert to jump instantly to your camera, or open the Nest app.
Select your doorbell camera.
You will see a live video from the camera of who is at the front door.
Select Talk at the bottom.
Speak to your guest. Press Talk again to hang up the voice communication.
10. Quiet Time
Quiet Time allows you to silence your indoor chime for a set period of time, such as when a baby is sleeping, or you are taking a nap.
Open Nest.
Select your doorbell camera.
You will see a live video from the camera.
Select the gear icon at the top.
Select Quiet Time.
Select how long you'd like your Door Chime to be silent.
You will still receive notifications on your smartphone when someone is at the door, but the internal chime will no longer sound for the duration of Quiet Time you chose.
You can cancel Quiet Time at anytime by selecting End Quiet Time.
