How to Use a PlayStation 3

1. Introduction
Your Playstation 3 is a great entertainment centerpiece for your living room.
This guide will give you the basic ins and outs of using your game console.
2. Play Disk Game
- Insert your game disk into the drive on the front of your Playstation 3.
Games on disk will automatically start when inserted.
3. Quit Game
- Press the PS button on your controller, to make sure you're on the main menu.
- Select Game.
- Select Quit Game.
4. Eject Disk
- With the console on the main menu, press the Eject button on your console.
Always store disks in their protective cases when not in use, to ensure they don't become scratched and unreadable by your console!

7. Play Downloaded Game
- Press the PS button on your controller, to make sure you're on the main menu.
- Select Game.
- Select the game you wish to play.

- Select Game.

10. Wireless Controller
- Acquire the supplied USB to micro-USB cable.
- Connect one end to the PS3 controller.
- Connect the other end to an available USB port.
- Then, press the PS logo button on the front of your PS3 controller.
- Your PS3 controller's lights should illuminate and your controller is ready to use.
- Once your controller has a decent charge you can unplug it and use it wirelessly.
11. Connect Bluetooth Device
This works for wireless headsets and microphones.
- Go to Home menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Accessory Settings.
- Select Manage Bluetooth Devices.
- Select Register New Device.
- Put your Bluetooth device in pairing mode. (Refer to device documentation for help with this)
- Select Start Scanning.
- Select the Bluetooth device you want to register.
- Select Enter.
- Enter your Bluetooth device's Pass Key.
- Select Enter. Then OK.
- Once the pairing is complete, you should see a confirmation page like this.
- Your Bluetooth device should now be paired with your PlayStation 3
12. Play Movie or Audio Disk
- Insert your movie or audio disk into the drive on the front of your Playstation 3.
Movies and audio on disk will automatically start when inserted.
13. Eject Disk
- With the console on the main menu, press the Eject button on your console.
