4. Control From App

Chromecast is designed with simplicity in mind. To control remotely what you are streaming with Chromecast you just have to use the interface of the website loaded in the Chrome browser on a computer or the Chromecast-enabled app on a mobile device. It is left to the website or app developer on how their interface controls the media you wish to stream over Chromecast.

  1. Simply start streaming by tapping on the cast button in the Chrome browser on a computer or any Chromecast-enabled app on a mobile device.

To toggle this feature on or off you need to access your TVs menu, options or settings using the buttons on the side of the unit or using its remote. This varies by manufacturer and TV model.
