How to Use Apps on a Xbox 360

1. Introduction

Your console is not limited to just playing games. You can also install apps from the store. This guide aims to help you with basic apps usage.

2. Install App

Installing an app.

1. Go to apps.

2. Select Browse Apps or Search Apps.

2. Browse or search for the app you are want then select it.
3. Select Download on the overview page.

2. Select Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.
3. Wait for your app to finish downloading.
4. To start your app, go to Apps, then My Apps, then select the app you just downloaded.

2. Your new app should now be available.

3. Open App

Opening an app

1. To open an app, first go to apps on the home page.

2. Select My Apps.

2. From the My Apps section, launch any app by pressing on A with your controller.
   

4. Pin App

Pinning places a shortcut to the application or game within the My Pins folder

To pin:

1. Go to the Games or Apps section and press X on an item that you wish to pin.

2. Select Pin to Home.

2. Exit back to the home screen and open My Pins.

2. You should see the collection of shortcuts of your pinned items.
   

5. Delete App

To uninstall apps or games:

1. Open the Settings menu then select System.
   

1. Open Storage.
   

1. Select the hard drive that the app or game is installed on.
   

1. Select Games and Apps.
   

1. Scroll up and down to choose. Select the app or game that you wish to remove.
2. App data or game files will be shown. Scroll down until you see the item that has an "Installed Xbox 360 App/Game" description.
   
3. Press A to open the operational commands, select Delete, then confirm.
   

1. The App or Game is now deleted.
