How to Use Groups in the Flux WiFi Pro App

1. Introduction

With Flux WiFi Pro, you can organize your bulbs by placing them in groups. This can help you easily identify where a bulb is located. Bulbs that are placed in a group can be managed at the same time. You can change colors, set timers, and more.

Before You Begin:

Your light bulb must be installed and set up.

Flux WiFi Pro must be installed.

2. Managing Flux WiFi Pro Groups

There are multiple applications that can control your FluxSmart WiFi lights. For this guide, we will be using the Flux WiFi Pro app.

Create Group

  1. Click the + symbol in the top right.

  1. Select Add Group from the menu.

  1. Type in a group name and tap Confirm.

Rename Group

  1. Long press on the group you want to rename.

Delete Group

  1. Long press on the group you want to delete.

Add Device to Group

  1. Long press on the group you want to add lights to.

  1. Select Assign Device.

  1. Select the bulbs you want to add to the group and tap Confirm.

Remove Device from Group

  1. Long press on the group you want to add lights to.

  1. Deselect the bulbs you want to remove from the group and tap Confirm.

Using Groups

  • Any action you can perform with a bulb can also be performed with a group. To perform an action to a group, simply select the group from the dashboard and then perform an action and it will apply to the entire group.
