1 Write with QuickPath on iOS Keyboard
- Touch the first letter of the word then slide your finger to the next letter and so on until you reach the last letter of the word then lift your finger.
When you lift your finger you can start a new word. You don't need to tap the space bar.
- If the wrong word shows up, choose the right word from the Prediction Bar above the keyboard.
If you're using an iPad, you'll need to shrink the on-screen keyboard to be able to write with QuickPath.
2 Shrink the On-Screen Keyboard on iPad
Writing with the on-screen keyboard on an iPad can be slow and even frustrating due to it stretching on the entire width of the screen. This makes it take up a big part of the screen as well hiding a lot of your text. To make things easier and allow you to write faster, you can shrink the on-screen keyboard.
- Place two fingers apart from each other on the on-screen keyboard and draw them together as if you were pinching the screen.
- You will get an iPhone sized keyboard. Drag it anywhere on the screen with the handle below the space bar.
- To expand it back to its normal size, place two fingers on the on-screen keyboard and draw them apart as if you were stretching the screen.
