1. Introduction

Ring has been working hard to provide the security features users of their devices demand. In a blog posted on January 30th, 2020, they announced that they have implemented a new 'Control Center' that introduces new ways to manage important privacy and security settings, including an increased level of control over your data. This guide will help introduce you to these new features, help you make sure your account is safe, and ensure that only you and those you trust are the ones with access to the Ring devices in your home.

Before You Begin:

Authorized Devices

Authorized Devices

Authorized Devices will list all devices that currently have access to your Ring home.

At this time, you cannot revoke or remove devices individually. If you see a device listed that you don't recognize, you must remove all devices, then sign back in with only the ones that should be authorized.

(They will be prompted for their username, password, and two-factor authentication, for security reasons)
