• Stream Xfinity TV on your computer or mobile device.

Before We Begin:

• Have your Comcast username and password.
• You should have the Xfinity Stream app installed if you're using a mobile device.

2. Choose Your Operating System

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your computer or mobile device has.

For Computers

There are 2 main Operating Systems for personal computers currently available, Windows and macOS.

Windows

Windows runs on computers produced by multiple companies, such as Lenovo, Asus, Dell, Toshiba, Hewlett Packard, Acer, and Sony.

macOS

Apple is the only company that makes macOS computers.

For Mobile Devices

There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

Android Smartphone

Android smartphones are produced by multiple companies, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony, Nokia, Lenovo, and HTC.

iOS Smartphone

Apple is the only company that makes iOS smartphones.

3. Browser Sign-In

1. Open your preferred browser, typed xfinity.com/stream into the address bar, and press Enter or Return.
   

1. Select Sign In at any location on the page.
   

1. Enter your Comcast Username and Password, then select Sign In.

Once signed in, you'll be able to:

• Purchase a TV package.
• Watch live TV.
• Stream many of your favorite shows and movies on demand.

4. App Check

In order to stream your Comcast Xfinity television to your mobile device, you will need the Xfinity Stream app.

5. Initial Setup

Getting started with the Xfinity Stream app is very similar on both Android and iOS devices.

If You're Using an Android Device

1. Open Xfinity Stream.
   

1. Xfinity Stream needs to be able to store TV on your device to allow you to watch offline. The first time you start Xfinity Stream, it will ask permission to access media on your device, select Allow.
   

1. A welcome screen is shown. Select Get Started.
   

1. Enter your Comcast Username and Password, then select Sign In.
   

If You're Using an Apple iOS Device

1. Open Xfinity Stream.
   

1. A welcome screen is shown. Select Get Started.
   

1. You'll be asked to use your Xfinity account to sign in. Select Continue.
   

1. Enter your Comcast Username and Password, then select Sign In.
