1. Amazon: Alexa App Installation

With the free Alexa app, you can manage your alarms, music, shopping lists, and more. This guide will help you with first time setup.

The Alexa app is available on mobile devices with:

• Fire OS 3.0 or higher
• Android 5.0 or higher
• iOS 9.0 or higher

2. Amazon Alexa: Install Android App

1. Open Play Store.
   

1. Type "Amazon Alexa" in the search bar.
2. Select Amazon Alexa in the search results.
3. Click Install to start downloading the app.
   

1. Click Open to proceed to the setup.
   

3. Amazon Alexa: Setup Android App

1. Sign into your Amazon account and then press SIGN IN.
   

1. Tap Continue to agree to Amazon's terms.
   

1. Tap an Amazon device and follow the prompts to begin setup. You can tap SKIP DEVICE SETUP to do it later.
   

1. Click ALLOW when prompted to give Amazon permissions.
   

1. To setup phone calling and text messaging, enter your country code and then your phone number. Click CONTINUE when ready or SKIP.
   

1. Your phone will be sent a text message with a 6-digit code. Type it in and then click CONTINUE.
   

1. Amazon Alexa is now set up and ready to use.
   

4. Amazon Alexa: Install App on iOS

1. Go to your Apple app store.
   

1. Search for "Alexa".
2. Select Amazon Alexa in the search results.
3. Click the download icon.
   

1. Select Open, to launch the app.
   

5. Amazon Alexa: Setup iOS App

1. Sign into your Amazon account by entering your Email, Amazon password, and then press SIGN IN.
   

1. Tap GET STARTED.
   

1. Select the User.
   

1. Click ALLOW when prompted to give Amazon permissions.
   

1. Amazon Alexa is now set up and ready to use.
   

6. Amazon Alexa: Use App on Fire Tablet

Alexa is comes pre-installed on Alexa-enabled Fire tablets.

1. Hold the device Home button until you see a blue line.
   

1. Once you see the blue line at the bottom, Alexa is ready you can ask a question or give a command.
