1. Introduction: Install your Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Camera App

This guide will walk you though installing the Canon Camera App on your Smartphone or Tablet.

2. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV: Setup Wi-Fi

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Press the Menu button.

  1. Tap on Communication Settings.

  1. Tap on Nickname.

  1. Your camera's Wi-Fi Network and Security Key will now be displayed.

3. Canon Camera Connect: Install Android App

  1. Open Play Store.

  1. Type "Canon Camera Connect" in the search bar and tap Install.

  1. Once installed, tap Open to proceed to the setup.

4. Canon Camera Connect: Setup Android App

  1. Open the Cannon Connect app from the Home Screen.

  1. Once both devices are connected to the same network you should get a prompt asking to connect your camera to your device. Tap on the camera from the list.

6. Canon Camera Connect: Install iOS App

  1. Open the App Store.
  1. Type in "Canon Camera Connect" in the search bar.
  2. Find Canon Camera Connect in the search results and tap on GET.

7. Canon Camera Connect: Setup iOS App

  1. Open the Cannon Connect app from the Home Screen.

  1. On first launch, you will be prompted to to allow the app to send you system notifications.

  1. Tap on Skip.
