1. Introduction: Fujifilm X-T2: Fujifilm Camera Remote: Setup

This guide will take you through setting up the Fujifilm Camera Remote app on your smartphone, and setting up your Fujifilm X-T2 camera to connect to it.

2. Fujifilm Camera Remote: Install Android App

1. Launch the Play Store on your smartphone.
   

1. Select the search bar at the top.
   

1. Type in "FUJIFILM Camera Remote", then select FUJIFILM Camera Remote from the list.
   

1. Select Install.
   

1. This app requires extra permissions. When prompted, select Accept.
   

1. Once installed, you can select Open now to open it.
   

We will return to the app in a moment, our next step is to enable Wi-Fi mode on your camera.

3. Fujifilm X-T2: Connect to Wi-Fi

1. Push the Menu/OK button.
   

1. Select Setup 3 > PC Auto Save Setting.
   

1. Select Manual Setup.
   

1. Choose Select From Network List.
   

1. Select your network from the list.
   

1. Enter your password, then select Set.
   

1. Your camera will make a Wi-Fi connection.
   

1. Once connected, your camera will automatically seek out your computer or mobile device with the companion app to connect to.
   

4. Fujifilm X-T2: Pair to Phone

Make sure your phone an camera are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

1. Open the Fujifilm Camera Remote app.
   

1. Select Connect.
   

5. Fujifilm Camera Remote: Basic Controls

The Camera Remote app offers you 4 basic ways to interact with your Camera.

• Remote Control

• Geotagging
• Using your phone's GPS information, add latitude and longitude information to images, to help keep them more organized later.

6. Fujifilm Camera Remote: Install iOS App

1. Open the App Store.
   

1. Select Search in the bottom right corner.
   

1. Type in "FUJIFILM Camera Remote", then select Search.
   

1. Select Get for FUJIFILM Camera Remote.
   

1. Select Open to open the app now, if you wish.
