Install the App for Your Nikon D3400 Camera

1. Introduction: Nikon SnapBridge: D3400: Install App

This guide will walk you through setting up Nikon SnapBridge, to communicate with your Nikon D4300 camera.

2. Android: Enable Bluetooth

  1. Swipe down on your screen (or up, if using a tablet) to access the menu.
  2. Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.

3. Nikon SnapBridge: Install Android App

  1. Launch the Play Store on your smartphone.

  1. Select the search bar at the top.

  1. Type in "SnapBridge", then select SnapBridge from the list.

  1. This app requires extra permissions. When prompted, select Accept.

  1. Once installed, you can select Open now to open it.

4. Nikon D3400: Pairing Registration

  1. Push the Menu button.

  1. Select Setup.

  1. Scroll down, and select Connect to Smart Device > Start.

5. Nikon SnapBridge: Pair to Phone

  1. Launch SnapBridge on your device.

  1. Your phone will locate your camera. Follow the directions on your phone's screen to complete the connection.

6. Nikon SnapBridge: Basic Controls

You'll be able to access the primary features of your Nikon camera from the main menu.

  • This allows you to upload images to your Nikon Image Space account using your smartphone's data connection.

7. iOS: Enable Bluetooth

  1. Open Settings on your phone or tablet.

8. Nikon SnapBridge: Install iOS App

  1. Open the App Store.
