Pair Bluetooth Devices to Your Sony Alpha a6500 Camera

1. Introduction: Sony Camera: Pair Bluetooth
This guide will show you how to pair your Sony camera through Bluetooth.
Make sure your Bluetooth devices are within 10 feet of each other to be able to pair them.
2. Sony Camera: Enable Bluetooth
Set the power switch to ON to turn on the camera.
Press the Menu button on the camera.
Use the Control Wheel to navigate the menu. You can turn the control wheel or press â–²/â–¼/â–º/â—„ to move the selection frame. Press â— in the center of the control wheel to set the selected item.
Go right to Wireless
, go through the numbered screen and look for Bluetooth Settings then select it.
Then select Bluetooth Function.
Set the settings to On.
Then go to Pairing.
The camera screen will instruct you to continue the process on your mobile device.
Switch over to your mobile device to establish the Bluetooth connection.
3. Sony Camera: Pair Bluetooth to Android
From the main screen of your Android device, tap on the Apps button.
Then look for and tap on Settings.
Then go to Bluetooth.
Make sure the Bluetooth feature is enabled by flipping the On / Off switch to the On position then wait for the list to populate and tap on the device name that you see on the Sony cameras screen.
Accept the pairing request on the Sony camera by selecting OK.
You should get a confirmation that the camera was paired to the device.
4. Sony Camera: Pair Bluetooth to iOS
From the main screen of your device, look for and open Settings.
After that go to Bluetooth.
Make sure that the Bluetooth feature is enabled by flipping the On / Off switch to the green position then wait for the list to populate and tap on the device name that you see on the Sony cameras screen.
Accept the pairing request on the Sony camera by selecting OK.
Accept the pairing request on the iOS device as well by selecting Pair.
You should get a confirmation that the camera was paired to the device.
